Full Proof is the name of the programme run by the Chisomo team in Zambia to support vulnerable mothers. Headed up by Josephine Chilunjika, the programme offers a range of activities including parenting skills, peer support, and activities to help develop income generating skills.
During the CV-19 pandemic, the women of Full Proof gathered together (when not in lockdown) to design and create a range of brightly coloured reusable face masks. These were then distributed around the country through the organisation ‘Good-neighbours’.
In all, the women made over 5,000 facemasks – that’ll help keep a good number of people protected when out and about.
