Food distribution in Kibera, thanks to CRED supporters

Food and hygiene parcels were recently distributed to residents of Kibera slum in Nairobi, thanks to the generosity of CRED Supporters.

CRED Partner, Spurgeons Childcare Kenya, under the leadership of Kenyanito Dudi, distributed parcels of basic food stuffs, plus face masks, to families in the community who had been recognised as particularly vulnerable during this Covid-19 time.

These families include single-parent families, child-headed households, and in this instance also included families who have deaf members, either by birth or through illness. The deaf sector of the community feel very forgotten and ignored in normal life and so they were particularly happy to be remembered and included.
