There was great celebration recently as the new library at Stepping Stones school in Malawi was officially opened by local dignitaries.
The library is already proving to be great hit with the students as it provides them with the space and access to books that they just never get anywhere else, especially those students who come from very challenging and overcrowded homes.
The library also has an IT suite included allowing the students the opportunity to develop much needed IT skills which will increase their chances of accessing better paid jobs in the future and climbing up the ladder out of poverty.
