Bassket weaving program for local mothers

Stepping Stones recently started a basket weaving program for mothers in the local community. They have learnt how to make various woven items including baby baskets, similar to Moses baskets. The baskets are then filled with items to help new mothers, such as sanitary pads, baby clothes, soap, underwear and other basic items. Kumbu took the first batch up to the hospital and distributed these to new mothers on the maternity ward.
