The following poem was written as part of a poetry-writing event at Spurgeons Academy, to mark World Poetry Day
My school is peaceful
It’s not like the other schools
Where clouded chill surmount children
Each time the scene of the teachers is good brown
Teachers are like parents, so caring, loving and wonderful
Why think of home where we are
My school can change the life of a child
I love my school so peaceful like heaven
