Poem
By Sheidernaller Shama
Listen my classmates
We have been together
For seven grades now
From grade one, two, three
To grade four, five, six, and now seven
We must begin to think of our future
And what we will be as adults
I want us to think ahead
Try to imagine our future
And what we will be doing then
See the cards I have placed here
Choose one and read it
Then tell us what you will be doing
In future when you are an adult
I shall be repairing cars
Everyone will be saying
I am the best mechanic around
I shall be designing houses
People will be saying
I am the best architect in town
I shall be building roads
All will be saying
I am a respectable engineer
I shall be inventing new ones
They will be saying
I am the best Kenyan innovator
