Dirty Town

By Irene Awuor

Dirty town, dirty town

Do you live in dirty town?

Where people throw their rubbish down

Upon the streets of dirty town

Dirty streets, dirty streets

Do you walk down dirty streets?

Where cars and bus run over your feet

Nothing there is ever neat

Dirty school, dirty school

Do you go to dirty school?

Where children behave like fools

And do not know conservation rules

Dirty girl, dirty girl

Do you ever bath at all?

With dirty face and dress

You really look a mess
