Handwashing and social distancing aren’t easy to achieve in a densely populated place like Kibera slum in Nairobi, where homes are temporary and none have access to clean running water on tap.
But that doesn’t mean that you don’t try and follow the guidelines to reduce the spread of Covid 19.
Thanks to valiant efforts from Spurgeons CCK, there are now posters and handwashing facilities set up in the area around Spurgeons Academy, enabling those residents to achieve much better levels of handwashing than they had previously imagined.
