Bishop officially opens Vocational College in Uganda

The Nkuru Business and Vocational Training College was the location of great celebrations recently when the Bishop of Mityana visited in order to carry out an official opening and blessing ceremony

The Bishop, alongside Rev Tim Hall from the UK, unveiled a plaque at the college to mark the auspicious occassion. Rev Hall has been mentor and friend for John Njendahayo ever since John attending St David’s College in Conway, where Rev Hall is chaplain, so his attendance at this event was an extra special touch for John.

The students were all in attendance, and showed the Bishop and other guests examples of their course work, as well as information about their Innovation Club.

All in all a very wonderful day celebrating a college that is pioneering in the delivery of vocational training in Uganda.
