Students from Acorn International School in Kampala visited the Nkuru Vocational and Business College recently to learn more about green technologies and sustainability.
The 20 students, who are all in year 9 at school, and two teachers, came to the college to find out more about biogas which is on their curriculum for this term.
The school is also exploring new opportunities for community participation, so this field trip gave the students lots of food for thought on that front as well.
All in all the young people had an inspiring and very informative day touring the college and seeing all the different aspects of green technology in situ.
