One of the teachers at Galaxy school in Uganda recently invited some members of the Acholi community to come to the school and meet pupils of the ‘jewellery club’. The students learned from the Acholi women how to make paper beads, and then how to turn them into pieces of jewellery. A very good day was had by all, and the school retained some of the Acholi jewellery to sell to the other students and the staff.
