In the spring, Janaki and a team from FIAM visited the region of Manipur, to provide support for those who, because of their Christian faith, have been persecuted and made homeless by extremist Hindu radicals.
The team provided a range of supports, including pigs, chickens, goats, vegetable seeds, and sewing machines, all of which can be used to generate income. They also distributed food stuffs to the families in need.
