CBISDO is a community based organisation based in one of the low-income ‘woredas’ of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. One of the programmes that they run is to provide support and a day care centre for young adults who have additional needs.
As well as being a place that the young people can go to on a daily basis, the programme provides access to medical care and check ups, and also runs information and training programmes for the families and wider community, to ensure more inclusivity for those living with additional needs.
