The playground at Stepping Stones primary school in Nkhata Bay, Malawi is a very well-loved playground. The school, which has been supported by CRED Partners ever since it’s inception, is well known in the community for not just providing high quality that is accessible to children from all backgrounds, but also for having a playground that is open to students and community members alike. This is just one of the reasons that Stepping Stones school, and it’s associated vocational training courses, really are at the heart of the community.
Further evidence of how loved and well-used the playground is can be seen in the fact that it is starting to need a few repairs. Nothing that means that the children can’t continue to play in the meantime, but just a few hints that the equipment maybe needs a bit of proactive TLC! With that in place the playground will be able to continue to provide a place for children and their imaginations to run wild in a safe and fun environment.
