Good Samaritan month – FIAM

A beautiful story of the children of St Joseph’s school (FIAM) putting the Good Samaritan ethos into practice. Written by Janaki Menni of FIAM.

I am very happy to share that most of the children are showing kindness and helping minds and behaving like very responsible children. We organized a Good Samaritan Day competition among the children without any advertisement. But the children were amazing. The daily moral stories related to the teachings of the Holy Bible are making an impact on the hearts of the children. Praise the Lord. We all praised God for their attitude.

Personally I am very happy because we are seeing that what we want to see in the lives of the children. Gods name will be glorified and expand His kingdom through these children. Amen.

An example story: our little children sacrificed their small snack money for a month and collected that amount to provide education to blind children. In this part, maximum children participation and some children gave at least one rupee as their contribution. Children collected £674 and gave it to the blind people.  Our teachers motivated the children and they did so. This was a surprise to all the people in this area. Because here there are many rich schools but they do not have the heart to help others in need, but our children sacrificed their snacks for a month to help others without any discrimination, children from rich families and children from poor families. When they got this support from our children, those blind people cried and hugged them. This is what we want to see in the lives of children. Hallelujah. Pray for these children.
