Team from DACA have arrived

The team from Darwen Aldridge Community Academy (aka DACA) have arrived. After a long overnight journey they are all settled in at John and Sophie’s, have enjoyed their first Ugandan meal, are relishing the warm weather, and are all prepped for their first day in Acholi Quarters tomorrow which is one of the projects linked to our Ugandan CRED Partner Nkuru-Nziza Foundation.

NB: Although this isn’t a CRED trip, what the DACA Team are doing, and where they are going will bring back memories for so many previous CRED team members that we thought you’d like to get the updates anyway.

  1. Hi team,
Absolutely loving reading all your families comments on the DACA blog (I’m having trouble posting on it?) you are a very lucky bunch! It sounds like you’ve definitely hit the ground running in Uganda. Soak it all up and write everything down! Say hi to John and family – Sophie’s cooking is incredible, enjoy!
Take care and look after each other.
    Mrs Davis x
